A quality water softener can last for many years with very little input from you.
The tanks do not need manual cleaning as they automatically clean themselves through the regeneration process. Your softener unit will need replenishing with salt but that really is it.
Like a reliable car, it will still however need servicing to check its all in working order, therefore we do recommend you book a ‘Health Check’ for your softener annually.
